A Sunday well spent... ⚡️🌿 🏄🏼‍♀️
x 10 min morning medi

x Ocean dip and catch up with friends
xBig smoothie as soon as I got home
x The usual arvo #WholesomeStef work sesh

Sounds like a good Sunday to me!

PS this smoothie lovin’ gal decided to branch out and make a yummy new concoction with fermented mushrooms 🍄 this morn. Medicinal mushrooms are known to be powerful adaptogens, meaning they support the body to adapt and cope with stress. From the bit of reading I’ve done, I’ve learnt that they strengthen the immune system, are anti-inflammatory, are a great antioxidant and improve heart health.

This particular one (called Agaricus Blazei aka mushroom of life), is known for its anti-aging properties due to high antioxidants and beta glucans that prevent cell damage and reduce oxidative stress. I’m turning 26 this year so guess I gotta start thinking bout that 🙋🏼‍♀️ Have you guys experimented with mushrooms (and no, not those 😝)? #fermentedmushrooms #empowder #setthebar
What fears are holding you back?

fear of not fitting in.

fear of not being good enough.

fear of being vulnerable.

of being hurt by someone as a result.

fear of being lonely.

In every moment, we have one of two choices: we can choose either love or fear. This simple choice underpins every decision we make throughout the day; from how we choose to move our body to how we eat, interact with people and talk to ourselves.

What if we stopped listening to that inner fear-based voice, defied the odds and turned our fears around to create a story based on being FEARLESS? To me that is the definition of being #FEARLESSLYFEMALE.

Taking your fears and turning them into your strengths. Transforming your old story into a story of courage, into something meaningful that helps to serve others in their own journey.

I used to be petrified talking about my eating disorder. I was living in secrecy and no-one knew how I truly felt on the inside. But when I finally opened up and allowed people to penetrate the walls I had built up around myself, I understood the power of feeling your fear and doing it anyways. Talking about your fears holds immense power. It’s liberating, exhilarating. It was the beginning of my healing journey.

Shout-out to all the incredible women who share their inspiring, strong, vulnerable and honest stories of their every day struggles. You inspire me. // …feeling #FEARLESSLYFEMALE in my new @lornajaneactive set 💪🏻 #lornajaneactive #mnb

make one decision at a time.
and trust that the universe has got your back. ✨
Best start to the week ☀️ I can confirm I didn’t break my surf board this morning! Hope you all have the best week 💕 #sunrise #bondisunrise
The extent of what I got up to this weekend 🌿🌊🙌🏻 #weekendwellspent
[recipe below.]...my favourite time of the day is early morning - there’s something about the unlimited potential of the day ahead, the calm, the spaciousness. I’m also my most productive and most creative in the morning, something I’m trying to leverage lately. I’ve moved my morning workouts on the weekend to later sessions, but I still get up around 6am and instead do some writing work. It’s when my head is the most clear and I feel the most concentrated ✨🙏🏻 I’ve been absolutely rubbish at writing blog posts for you guys, so hopefully this routine will help. This 👆🏻 was the smoothie I made this morning before heading off to a little day road trip 🚙 , consisting of:

x Handful of spinach
x Handful frozen kale (more like a frozen block of kale)
x ½ frozen banana
x 1 scoop @pranaon protein powder
x 1 tsp maca powder
x 1 tbsp peanut butter
x ½ cup almond milk
x ½ cup water
x Pinch of cinnamon
x Couple of ice cubes

Happy Sunday lovelies! 🌿 #WholesomeTribe
Going to bed happy and content 🙏🏻💤 Today was one of those perfect weekend days where I hit a great balance between work and play (in case anyone is wondering/doesn’t know: I work full time and do my coaching biz + blog on the side, hence a lot of the #WholesomeStef work gets done on the weekend) Anywhooo, I trained in the morning, meditated, then had a solid three hours of work from bed (cause #weekend 🛏 ) before I went out for a surf, relaxed by the beach, read my book a little and then went out for dinner with friends. Pure bliss ✨ I still always struggle with feeling like I didn’t do ENOUGH and always have to remind myself that if I don’t recharge over the weekend, I’ll be super drained the following week and it’s just not worth it. It’s def an area that I still need to work on, as it’s too easy to fall into that scarcity mindset of “I didn’t do enough”. Anyone else out there with a side hustle that is trying to juggle weekend play with weekend hustle? 🙋🏼‍♀️#WholesomeTribe
What are you doing this weekend to fill up your #selfcare cup?

Comment in emojis below! Mine goes something like this: 💤 🌊 🌿 💦💪🏻 📚
